IT Service Desk Analyst - Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, Sharepoint, Jira, ITIL, Web-based solutions - Hybrid (West London) - £23-30k + good bens
An experienced IT Service Desk Analyst is urgently required to provide IT support to my client's desktop and mobile computing users. You will be responsible for logging service desk tickets, for investigating all support requests and incidents and for diagnosing and fixing desktop hardware, software and driver issues in a Microsoft environment.
IT Service Desk Analyst Role and Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality Service Desk support

Record and manage all customer support contact using the company's Service Management tool to agreed Service Levels

Administer IT infrastructure including Microsoft Windows. Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, Sharepoint, Jira

Monitor and test all local backups and perform restores from backup when necessary

Produce regular MI and reporting with regard to IT Infrastructure performance
Requirements
Demonstrable experience of 1st Line Service Desk/Desktop Support experience

Thorough knowledge of Windows, Azure, Office 365, Sharepoint, Active Directory and Jira

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A good telephone manner with previous experience of using Service Desk tools

Qualifications in or knowledge of ITIL Service Management best practice would be advantageous
The role is a broad and interesting one involving the provision of Service Desk support across all of my client's software portfolio. As the first point of contact with the user population, you will be an integral member of a high-calibre support team.
