Job description

We are seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead digital strategy, IT operations and service improvement across a multi-site environment. This is a senior leadership role with broad scope, combining strategic planning with operational oversight across infrastructure, cyber security, cloud platforms, service delivery, governance and digital transformation.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to shape a clear and practical IT roadmap, ensuring technology supports organisational priorities and delivers an excellent user experience. Responsibilities for the Head of IT:

  • Lead the development and delivery of the organisation's IT and digital strategy across multiple sites
  • Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, cloud services, cyber security and service performance
  • Manage IT governance, budgets, supplier relationships and technology investment planning
  • Lead, develop and support internal IT teams while driving continuous improvement and digital transformation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role within a multi-site organisation
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management, cyber security, cloud technologies and Microsoft 365
  • Experience of leading digital transformation, supplier management and IT governance
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate technical matters into clear business insight
