Monster Group is looking for a proactive IT Technical Support Specialist professional to keep our team running smoothly and our systems working at their best.
You'll be the first point of contact when something isn't working - helping colleagues resolve issues quickly and keeping everything secure and efficient behind the scenes. If you enjoy problem-solving, learning on the job, and working with a range of technologies, this role offers variety, responsibility, and room to grow.
The ideal person will be practical, curious, and confident solving a wide range of IT problems. You'll handle quick fixes as well as longer-term improvements, and you'll be open to using new tools - including automation and AI - to make work easier for everyone. You should enjoy working logically through problems and be able to explain technical issues in a clear, friendly way to colleagues who aren't technical.

Role Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support to colleagues across the business
- Set up laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for new starters
- Help troubleshoot and fix hardware, software, and network issues (remotely and onsite)
- Keep IT equipment and system records up to date
- Help ensure systems stay secure (passwords, permissions, updates, antivirus, etc.)
- Develop and support in-house technical solutions (PHP, Python, SQL).
- Contribute to internal software development, automation, and reporting projects.
- Create business intelligence reports using Power BI and SQL.
- Explore ways to use AI tools to make work more efficient
Requirements
- Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration.
- Working knowledge of PHP, Python, and SQL for scripting and automation.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset.
Desirable:
- Experience with Power BI reporting and data visualisation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Azure environments.
- Familiarity with cPanel or other Linux server management tools.
- Comfortable working with Linux servers via the terminal.
