Do you enjoy helping customers and providing a great level of service?
If yes, then we have an opportunity to join a small IT team in Worksop. The role will cover a wide variety of services and solutions.
Some of the technologies we provide and support are Windows Server and Desktop, Networking, Office 365, Voice over IP, Mac, Azure and AWS, Security devices and various productivity applications.
It's a varied role with lots of opportunity for growth and development. We'll provide and support you through vendor and technology certifications to build your skills.
The role is based at our Worksop office with a mixture of working there and at customer sites, predominantly in the local area., * Providing IT Support to our customers both from our office and at customer sites
- Helping maintain and manage customer infrastructure (cloud and local)
- Project work including builds, upgrades, installations and migrations of desktops, servers, network devices and cloud services
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communications skills
- Open and clear communicator on the phone, email, chat and in person
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Able to work on own initiative
- Willingness to learn. We support a wide variety of businesses across lots of different industries, each with different requirements and technologies.
- Attention to detail with good organisation skills, * Proven experience of PC, Server, VoIP and network installations at customer sites
- Office 365 setup and administration
- Windows Server configuration, administration and troubleshooting skills
- Hardware / Software troubleshooting skills both remotely and at customer sites
- Microsoft MCP or equivalent certifications (Server, desktop, cloud)
- Good knowledge of networking including LAN, WAN, DNS, WLAN and VPN
- Driving license and own car
Desirable skills and experience
- Networking Vendor certification (Fortinet, Cisco, Mikrotik etc)
- Experience of Server Migrations
- Experience of Linux, Azure and AWS
