Job description
- Network administration and support of a wider Network environment in a highly available setting
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across the Network IT landscape
- Build and configure Network components (physical and logical) aligned to approved designs
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for existing and new configurations
- Gather requirements and coordinate with vendors including cabling and ISPs
- Support network modelling, planning, and analysis activities
- Upgrade network hardware and software components where required
Requirements
This role will suit experienced Network Engineers who are comfortable working in mission-critical environments, supporting complex Cisco-based infrastructures, and contributing to ongoing network transformation initiatives., * Strong experience in Network refresh and upgrade projects
- Hands-on experience with Firewall & Security Technologies (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, VMware NSX, Pulse Secure SSL VPN)
- Strong understanding of authentication systems (SAML, SSO, LDAP, Active Directory)
- Deep knowledge of IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS protocols
- Experience with Proxy and SSL technologies
- Strong troubleshooting experience within Cisco environments (Nexus, Enterprise Routers, LAN Switches)
- Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers and Wireless technologies (WLCs, APs)
- Experience with network monitoring and packet capture tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds or similar)
- Strong understanding of LAN & WAN routing and switching
