We have an opportunity for an ICT Senior Applications Officer.

You will be providing technical expertise for Manchester City Council's QL Housing Management System; mobile working; and tenant web portal databases.
You will be a part of the QL Support team, maintaining the our housing management systems and 3rd Party Interfaces.
You will be part of a team that provides a responsive service. Ensuring that interfaces between housing and other internal, external, and 3rd party systems, are meeting the challenges faced in social housing.
You will be able to support different areas of our business, turning customer needs into the design, production, documentation, configuration and support of IT solutions., We guarantee assessments for applicants who meet the recruiting panels minimum shortlisting requirements for the role and identify with at least one of the criteria below:

Requirements
- Aareon QL Systems, including workflows
- The ability to translate business needs into system requirements
- SQL database skills
- Understanding of the SQL server product set including SQL scripting
- Building and maintaining data extracts
- Experience of formal change control procedures and version management
- Experience of performing software upgrades and installation of software patches on a Housing management systems.
You will be:
- self motivated & organised
- have the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- able to explain technical projects in plain language to colleagues, * Experience of configuring Housing Management Systems in particular Aareon QL
- Experience of involvement of ongoing development of Housing Management Systems
- Experience in development of Mobile Application
- Experience in creating interfaces between 3rd Party Applications
- Experience of using SQL Server
The experience below would be beneficial but is not essential:
- Experience of working in Social Housing / Public Sector organisations
- Experience of working alongside 3rd Party Organisations
