Job description
This is a full-time, on-site IT Support Technician role based in the Colchester area. In this role, you will deliver field-based IT support services, including resolving technical issues, troubleshooting hardware/software problems, repairing computer systems, and providing maintenance for printers and desktop computers. You will collaborate with clients to ensure optimal performance and ensure equipment and technology meet operational needs.
Requirements
Proficiency in Technical Support, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Experience working with Desktop Computers and providing on-site maintenance and support.
- Skilled in Troubleshooting and problem-solving IT-related challenges.
- Knowledge of Printer Support and the ability to maintain and repair printers.
- Computer Repair skills for identifying and addressing hardware faults.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide superior client support.
- Valid driving license and willingness to commute for field-based assignments.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are advantageous.
This is a mobile role, so full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
