Job description

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist who not only has strong technical skills but also values excellent customer service and clear communication., The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to business clients across a variety of systems and environments. This role is hybrid, with approximately 50% remote work and 50% on-site visits to client locations., * Provide technical support to clients both remotely and on-site

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT hardware and software systems
  • Support and maintain Windows Server environments and Microsoft 365 services
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking equipment and firewalls
  • Assist with cybersecurity tools and best practices
  • Set up and support video conferencing and collaboration systems
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding technical issues and solutions

Requirements

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and directly with clients., * Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with networking equipment, firewalls, and basic networking concepts
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or network installation/support
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with clients

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with managed services environments (MSP)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools or monitoring platforms
  • Experience installing or managing business networking equipment
  • Experience with VoIP or video conferencing systems

Work Environment

  • Hybrid position (approximately 50% remote / 50% client site visits)
  • Client sites located in the DFW Metroplex
  • Flexible and fast-paced work supporting a variety of businesses and technologies
