Job description
Our client is seeking a Manager of Technical Operations to lead a team of engineers at our Glenwillow, Ohio Data Center. This role focuses on managing a team that maintaining and optimizing 24/7 real-time transaction systems for Central Gaming Platforms. The ideal candidate will oversee system performance, ensure operational reliability, mentor technical staff, and coordinate cross-functional support. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for solving complex operational challenges are essential.
- Managing/supporting/mentoring a team of TechOps Engineers who will be responsible for the following.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of people management experience

Experience leading cross Team communication

Advanced technical understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g., system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, networking).
o Base knowledge of Windows operations systems
? 80% Linux / 20% Windows
o Professional experience with Bash scripting for automation and system tasks.
o Containerization - professional experience with containerization application management
o Kubernetes or Rancher (or similar tool)
o Ansible - for Infrastructure automation and configuration management
