Job description
- Provide day-to-day Windows 10 desktop support for employees, including hardware, software, and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Respond to and resolve Service Desk tickets related to workstation issues, user access, applications, and device performance.
- Support end-user LAN/network connectivity, including basic troubleshooting of switches, ports, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi issues.
- Perform workstation deployments, imaging, upgrades, and configuration of new devices.
- Assist users with Office 365, email configuration, printing issues, and collaboration tools.
- Troubleshoot and support a variety of end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, and mobile devices.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or infrastructure teams as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, fixes, processes, and asset information.
- Deliver high-quality customer service with a focus on communication, empathy, and user satisfaction.
Requirements
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician with strong experience supporting enterprise Windows environments and end users in a corporate setting. The ideal candidate brings excellent customer service, solid troubleshooting skills, and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently while maintaining a positive end-user experience., * 1.5 to 3 years of Windows 10 desktop support experience in a corporate environment.
- 1.5 to 3 years of end-user LAN/networking support experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to support users of varying technical skill levels.
- Experience with Active Directory (password resets, account unlocks), Office 365, and standard enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with device imaging tools (SCCM, MDT, Intune).
- Exposure to mobile device support (iOS/Android).
- A+ or other related IT certifications.
