PC Technician

• Install, image, configure, and pre-flight new PCs for client deployment
• Perform hands-on work at the hardware workbench, including diagnostics and basic repairs
• Prepare computers for deployment, resale, recycling, or disposal
• Recycle and process retired PCs in accordance with company procedures
• Photograph, list, and post refurbished hardware and accessories for sale on eBay
• Package, label, and ship hardware to clients, vendors, or buyers
• Drive to local client locations for PC delivery, pickup, or installation as needed
• Maintain basic inventory records and assist with asset tracking
• Keep the workbench, storage areas, and inventory spaces clean and organized

US itek is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) serving small and mid-sized businesses throughout Western New York. We are seeking a dependable, hands-on PC Technician to support our hardware lifecycle operations, including PC deployments, refurbishment, recycling, and logistics.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the hardware bench, takes pride in clean builds and organization, and is comfortable handling physical inventory and client-facing deliveries., * Prior hands-on work experience with PC hardware (professional or equivalent)

• Working knowledge of desktop computers, components, peripherals, and basic troubleshooting
• Valid New York State driver's license
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to drive to local client sites
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to ~50 lbs)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience working in an MSP or IT support environment
• Familiarity with Windows PC setup, imaging, or deployment workflows
• Experience selling or listing items on eBay or similar platforms
• Basic understanding of inventory or asset management
