Applications Engineer - Kalamazoo Area job in Kalamazoo

• Design, develop, and test software applications for manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues in production environments.
• Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on application usage.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for software applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
• Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
• Basic understanding of robotics or automation systems
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., Ansys, SolidWorks Simulation)
