Job description
- Design, develop, and test software applications for manufacturing equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues in production environments.
- Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on application usage.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for software applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
- Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
- Basic understanding of robotics or automation systems
- Experience with simulation software (e.g., Ansys, SolidWorks Simulation)
