Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Field Engineer specializing in Servers and IT Infrastructure to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of deploying, maintaining, and optimizing complex IT environments across diverse client sites. Your expertise will drive seamless operations, ensuring robust infrastructure that supports business growth and technological advancement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge virtualization, cloud services, and automation tools, empowering organizations to achieve their digital transformation goals., * Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, storage systems, and network hardware to ensure optimal performance and security.

Maintain and upgrade IT infrastructure components including operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments.
Implement virtualization solutions using VMware and manage cloud platforms like AWS and Azure to support scalable infrastructure needs.
Develop scripts using Bash, Python, Shell Scripting, or other languages to automate routine tasks and streamline system management.
Support VPN configurations, network security protocols, and API integrations to facilitate secure remote access and data exchange.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to deploy new features within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Conduct regular system health checks, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning to minimize downtime and data loss.
Assist clients in integrating APIs for seamless communication between various software applications and systems.

Requirements

Proven experience working with VMware virtualization platforms and managing complex IT infrastructures.
Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows Server, Linux distributions, UNIX systems, and their management tools.
Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and Azure for deploying scalable solutions.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell), Python, or Shell Scripting for automation purposes.
Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as Oracle or SQL Server for data management tasks.
Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
Knowledge of networking concepts including VPNs, APIs, firewalls, and network security best practices.
