Job description

We are seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to provide support in an uptick of tickets. Responsibilities: Provide Tier 1 Helpdesk support to internal users via phone and ticketing system

  • Handle 15-30 calls per day.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, including de-escalation and support.
  • Accurately document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
  • Collaborate effectively with a team environment.
  • Help Desk Analyst respond to end-user requests for technical assistance by Phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues.
  • Being a Help Desk Analyst uses established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards.
  • Utilizes product information or solution database to research, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions.
  • Additionally, Help Desk Analyst advises users on the methods, steps, and actions to resolve and avoid future issues and provides documentation as needed. Escalates problems to appropriate levels or teams to achieve issue resolution.
  • May support installs or upgrades of software or devices, set up user profiles, or re-set passwords.
  • Fulfills all service level standards for response time and quality. Typically reports to a supervisor.

This is a Contract position based out of Covington, LA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $12.00 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
