Job description

  • Configure, image, and deploy desktops and laptops (new and existing devices)
  • Install and set up monitors, docking stations, printers, and peripherals
  • Coordinate directly with end users to ensure successful delivery and setup
  • Perform PC imaging and reimaging for new hires and device refreshes
  • Stage and prepare equipment according to organizational standards
  • Install, configure, and transfer software applications
  • Provide user support when manual intervention is required
  • Provide hands-on support for hardware and software issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve break/fix issues efficiently
  • Support office moves, including disconnection, transport, and reinstallation of IT equipment
  • Reconfigure devices such as printers and phones to ensure seamless transitions
  • Manage 10-15 tickets daily through a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow or similar)
  • Prioritize and balance workload between deployments and support issues
  • Partner with Desktop Engineering, Service Desk, and warehouse teams
  • Communicate effectively with end users and internal stakeholders

Requirements

firstPRO is seeking a dependable and motivated Desktop Services PC Service Technician to support a growing organization. This role blends hands-on technical support with physical workstation setup, deployment, and relocation activities. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, occasionally physically demanding environment. Training will be provided, but prior hands-on PC support experience is required., * 1+ year of hands-on PC support experience

  • Experience with PC imaging/reimaging and software installations
  • Deskside support experience in a corporate environment
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow or similar)
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to lift/move equipment and walk between locations throughout the day

Benefits & conditions

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
