Job description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our organization's computer systems, networks, and technology infrastructure. The IT Specialist will provide technical support to employees, manage hardware and software resources, and ensure that all systems run securely and efficiently., * Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to users.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, mobile devices, and related equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions across systems.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, firewalls, and backups.
  • Assist with software rollouts, system upgrades, and technology projects.
  • Document IT processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Train and support staff in the effective use of technology resources.
  • Liaise with external vendors for hardware, software, and service support.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing agreements, and data protection regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, primarily Windows and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Hands-on experience with networking technologies (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
  • Understanding of IT security best practices and data protection principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
