Job Description: The Temporary User Support Technician will be assigned to work with a team of Sr. User Support Technicians to perform routine summer computer/hardware maintenance. The employee will work side-by-side with this team in performing the duties listed below. Candidate must be highly motivated and willing to learn/perform new tasks on a regular basis. Prior computer support experience is a plus but not necessary. 2+ years of customer service experience preferred., * Assist in loading computer images/software on District computer hardware
- Assist in teardown/setup of computer labs and classroom workstations/LSU's
- Assist in summer cleaning of District Hardware
- Assist in summer inventory of all District technology equipment
- Assist with loading/unloading of computer equipment (repetitive lifting of up to 70 lbs)
- Assist in transfer of computer equipment both internally at school site and across sites
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Job Qualifications: Candidate must be highly motivated and willing to learn/perform new tasks on a regular basis. Prior computer support experience is a plus but not necessary. Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
Benefits & conditions
Employment Information: This is a temporary full-time position for the months of June - July Summer work hours will be 8 hours per day, Monday- Friday ( 7:00 am - 3:45 pm). Some alternate work days may be required as needed to support summer projects.
Salary: Temporary Rate of Pay is $20.00 per hour.
