Job description

The CVI Technology Solutions Manager provides expert technical guidance, advice, and support to Customer Value Optimization (CVI) programs and projects. This role ensures alignment with customer energy initiatives, strategic goals, and overall program success through technical analysis, reporting, and process improvements., * Perform technical reviews and analysis of initiatives to meet customer needs.

  • Review internal documentation and customer agreements related to CVI initiatives.
  • Ensure project outcomes meet technical quality, reliability, and performance goals.
  • Monitor project performance and recommend improvements or corrective actions.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities to enhance initiative effectiveness.
  • Provide accurate updates to customer account managers and stakeholders.
  • Lead reporting, analysis, and tracking of initiatives for internal teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using data from systems such as SAP, ARM (WMIS), and Service Suite.
  • Analyze performance data to ensure initiatives meet targets and objectives.
  • Implement program adjustments to improve underperforming initiatives.
  • Provide technical recommendations to project managers and initiative owners.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Research new technologies, methods, and tools to support customer initiatives.
  • Manage and execute technical contracts related to projects.
  • Develop contract proposals requiring technical and engineering analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update initiative tracking reports.
  • Support additional project and process improvement activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Subject Matter Expert experience in one or more areas:
  • Customer service (technical)
  • Energy/utility engineering and construction
  • Energy initiatives or program management
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems.
  • Experience presenting to stakeholders and working directly with customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and dashboard development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing and writing large contracts.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field OR
  • Equivalent hands-on engineering design experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Six Sigma / Lean
  • PE (Professional Engineer)
  • CFA or similar
  • Advanced degree (MBA or related field such as Engineering, Finance, Economics, etc.)
  • Understanding of business strategy and process systems, * Business strategy understanding
  • Familiarity with process and enterprise systems
  • Data analysis and reporting (Tableau)
  • Project and program management
  • Stakeholder communication
