Our client, a leading player in the technology sector, is seeking a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician, you will be part of the Cloud Operations & Innovation department supporting vital infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization., All training will be standard hours M-F 8:30-5p for the first week then consultants will move to their assigned schedule
Front Half A Day Sun-Tues, Sun-Wed 6:30a - 6:30p
Back Half B Day Wed-Sat, Wed-Sun 6:30a- 6:30p
Front half A Night Sun-Tues, Sun-Wed 6:30p - 6:30a
Back Half B Night Wed-Sat, Wed-Sun 6:30p- 6:30a
What's the Job?

Perform cycle audits and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries while documenting all transactions accurately.

Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process returns on failed equipment.

Develop working knowledge of inventory management principles and stock control practices.

Ensure compliance with security and data management policies while handling data-bearing devices.

Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies and maintaining detailed physical inventory records.
What's Needed?
Requirements

High School Diploma AND 6 months experience or an internship in inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field.

Preferred: 2+ years' experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment.

Familiarity with IT hardware, warranty claims, and return merchandise authorizations (RMA).

Ability to operate heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks) is a plus.

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
