Job description

A local company in Hawaii is seeking for someone who wants to go into Application Support to support and enhance their platforms. This role is a hybrid of Business Analysis and Application Support, serving as a key liaison between business units, technical teams, and external vendors. Candidates may come from a traditional Business Analyst experience or from a Tier 2-3 Help Desk or Application Support experience, provided they have experience supporting enterprise applications and working directly with business stakeholders. This role requires comfort operating in a regulated, fast-paced production support environment with on-call responsibilities.   • Act as the primary liaison for day-to-day operational support the company's systems, including production issues, monitoring, and system analytics
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for high-priority and high-severity production issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors
  • Provide Tier 3 application support for complex system and customer issues, including vendor escalations
  • Support application releases, including testing coordination, issue tracking, implementation, and post-release validation
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from multiple business units
  • Maintain and update application documentation, including business processes, system workflows, and integration diagrams
  • Run reports and analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for system and process improvement
  • Configure system parameters to support new products, services, enhancements, and security updates
  • Develop and maintain training materials such as user guides and cheat sheets; deliver training to internal teams as needed
  • Ensure systems remain compliant with regulatory, risk, and audit requirements, including participation in remediation efforts
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for high-severity production issues
  • Support and manage smaller projects, enhancements, and release transitions from implementation through operations

Requirements

  • Candidates from a Tier 2-3 Help Desk or Application Support experience are encouraged to apply if they have experience supporting applications and working directly with business users
  • Experience in a Business Analyst and/or Application Support role, with strong exposure to production support and operations
  • Experience supporting client-server or SaaS applications in a regulated or enterprise environment
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application issues and coordinate resolution across technical teams and vendors
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between business, technical, and vendor teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production support environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $47.00/hr.
