Job description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive MAC Support Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Tanium, JAMF, and enterprise-level MAC environments. The MAC Support Technician will be responsible for managing and supporting our fleet of Apple devices, ensuring their optimal performance and security., * Provide technical support for MAC users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

  • Manage and deploy MAC devices using JAMF Pro, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize Tanium for endpoint management, security, and compliance monitoring.
  • Maintain and optimize enterprise MAC environments, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
  • Perform routine updates, patch management, and system maintenance to ensure the reliability and security of MAC devices.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement policies and procedures for MAC management.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to end-users on MAC functionalities and best practices.
  • Document support activities, configurations, and procedures accurately.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in MAC support and management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a MAC Support Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of MAC OS and Apple hardware.
  • Proficiency in JAMF Pro for device management.
  • Experience with Tanium for endpoint security and management.
  • Familiarity with enterprise MAC environments and associated challenges.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, JAMF Certified) are a plus. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
