Job description

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of IT systems across both locations, ensuring stability, security and excellent service for staff and students. You'll also lead technical teams, manage suppliers and help shape future technology decisions., * Managing servers, storage and virtualised environments

  • Supporting networks, switches, routers, VPNs, WiFi and firewalls
  • Overseeing Microsoft 365 administration and Azure cloud services
  • Managing backups, disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Supporting telephony, CCTV and access control systems
  • Maintaining Windows Server environments, Active Directory and remote desktop services
  • Managing SQL Server/MySQL backups, restores and user access
  • Monitoring security, permissions, antivirus and intrusion prevention
  • Maintaining documentation, operational manuals and inventory systems
  • Leading, mentoring and developing IT support staff
  • Managing budgets, procurement and external vendors
  • Supporting wider global IT teams when needed

Requirements

  • Strong infrastructure and systems experience across enterprise environments
  • Solid knowledge of Windows Server, networking and cloud platforms
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Proxmox or Xen environments
  • Confident troubleshooting skills with a calm, practical mindset
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and work independently
  • Previous experience supporting varied IT environments
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural environment

Desirable

  • VMware, Microsoft or Linux certifications
  • French language skills
  • Exposure to lean six sigma principles
