Job description
The IT Technical Delivery Lead is responsible for leading the delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives across the IT organization. This role combines senior-level program and project management expertise with strong technical fluency to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, aligned to priorities, and executed within established IT governance frameworks. This role supports multiple teams, including Application Development, Data Insights, and Infrastructure, and operates across a blend of delivery methodologies and technologies.
This position is located in Atlanta, GA in a hybrid working environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
-Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT programs and projects across multiple teams.
-Manage schedules, dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones across concurrent workstreams.
-Support IT governance processes, including capacity planning, schedule management, and quarterly (PI) planning.
-Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall) based on project needs.
-Partner closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
-Provide transparent reporting on delivery status, risks, and trade-offs.
-Utilize JIRA to manage work intake, execution, and delivery tracking.
-Support delivery across a blend of custom-developed and enterprise technologies.
Requirements
Proven experience in program and project management within IT environments.
-Experience operating within IT governance models, including planning and capacity management.
-Hands-on experience with Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
-Strong working knowledge of JIRA.
-Ability to lead and influence across multiple teams and disciplines.
-Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience supporting application development, data, and infrastructure teams.
-Technical background enabling effective collaboration with engineering and architecture teams.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,800.00 - $223,200.00.
