Job description
We are a highly successful software company, specialising in the direct supply, installation, and support of Data Protection and Recovery solutions for large SMEs, corporate organisations, and public sector clients. In recent years, we have successfully expanded into new markets, introducing innovative product offerings.
We are currently seeking an ambitious, driven, and professional Support Engineer (IT) work with the existing Technical Support Team providing Support and Consultancy services to our customer base as well as supporting our internal staff and infrastructure.
The team currently has 3 members of staff, which we are looking to expand. The successful candidate will be given training in the products we supply so they can provide helpdesk support to both our customer base and in-house. Once experience has been gained, opportunities exist to progress into a consultancy role where you will assist in the design and implementation of the data protection solutions we provide to our customers.
Requirements
· Been in an engineer/desktop support role or other customer facing experience
· Microsoft 365, Teams, Microsoft Office products
· Deployment (PC, tablet, peripherals, printers etc.)
· Able to work independently for routine activities and know when to escalate
· Able to communicate with customers, suppliers and 3rd parties
· Can plan, schedule and monitor own work and work as part of a team
