Job description

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor & Optimize: Oversee network, infrastructure, and application performance using APM and synthetic transaction monitoring.
  • Configure & Tune: Build and refine alerts, polls, and dashboards; optimize ServiceNow Event Management and ITOM, including AI Ops for event correlation and anomaly detection.
  • Collaborate: Partner with network, platform, and application teams for device onboarding, incident triage, and tool integration.
  • Troubleshoot: Resolve issues across monitoring solutions.
  • Document & Improve: Maintain operational documentation and drive continuous improvement in observability practices.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, * Core Monitoring Competencies: Hands-on experience with enterprise observability platforms (e.g., ServiceNow Event Management/ITOM, APM tools, synthetic monitoring solutions).

  • Alerting & Dashboarding: Ability to configure alerts, polls, and dashboards for proactive monitoring.
  • Infrastructure Awareness: General understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), endpoint systems, and server environments.
  • Network Monitoring Protocols: Strong understanding of SNMP, NetFlow, and related protocols for network visibility.
  • Automation & Scripting: Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, or Shell for monitoring and configuration tasks.
  • Operational Tools: Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira) and basic Active Directory/server administration.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and ability to work across multiple technical teams.

Preferred Extras

  • Exposure to financial domain monitoring and AI Ops tuning.
  • Background in NOC/IT Operations and ITIL processes.
