Data Architect

• Designing data architectures and systems that support organisational analytics and reporting needs
• Developing and optimising data pipelines to ensure reliable data flow across systems
• Gathering and documenting data requirements from business stakeholders
• Conducting data quality analysis and implementing solutions to improve data integrity
• Designing solutions using APIs, microservices and distributed system patterns
• Creating technical documentation including BPMN and UML diagrams
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business objectives
• Supporting the selection and implementation of data platforms and tools
• Contributing to CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code approaches using tools such as Terraform

What you could bringMost roles of this type require the following:Must-have

• Demonstrable experience in data requirements gathering and pipeline design
• Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and analysis methodologies
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modelling
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Experience with APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Nice-to-have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE environments
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or .NET / ASP.NET
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
• Knowledge of infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Linux or Windows administration
• Understanding of security frameworks including CSDR compliance
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Familiarity with BPMN and UML for process and system design
