Computer IT/Desktop Support Technician

Provides day-to-day operational support for the computing environment to ensure smooth IT operations. The role involves deskside support, troubleshooting, asset management, and documentation, following established procedures and processes., * Provide onsite Tier 2 deskside support for end users.

• Perform standard IT support tasks such as computer imaging, printer toner replacement, and asset disposal.
• Resolve ServiceNow trouble tickets and follow KB articles for troubleshooting.
• Update and maintain asset records in Asset Center.
• Maintain documentation such as contact lists, process logs, incident reports, and service records.
• Monitor IT equipment, inventory, supplies, and maintenance schedules.
• Communicate effectively via email and internal systems.
• Identify operational issues and resolve them using predefined procedures, escalating when necessary.
• Support basic printer troubleshooting and general end-user IT support.

This role requires occasional travel to Valley City, ND when needed. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license., * Basic knowledge of computing and networking concepts.

• Experience using Microsoft Office and internet/intranet applications.
• Understanding of computer security policies and security concepts.
• Basic troubleshooting and IT support knowledge.

Experience

• 1+ year of IT support experience preferred.
• Recent IT graduates are also considered.

Education

• Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required., * Do you have experience providing Tier 2 deskside IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and end-user issues?
• Have you worked with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow to manage and resolve IT support requests?
• Do you have hands-on experience with computer imaging, device setup, printer support, or hardware replacement?
