Social Media Specialist

At COCOON, our social channels are more than inspiration-they’re a direct connection between our brand and the customers we serve. As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll own and manage COCOON’s presence across every platform, ensuring our content is consistent, strategic, and performing at a high level.

This role is less about casual posting and more about expertise and execution. You’ll serve as our in-house subject matter expert on social platforms-planning content, managing calendars, optimizing performance, and making sure the right message reaches the right audience at the right time. What You’ll Do

Own COCOON’s Social Presence

• Manage COCOON’s presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.
• Ensure each platform is active, aligned with brand standards, and strategically managed.
• Maintain a consistent and intentional posting cadence across channels.

Plan & Execute Content Strategy

• Build and manage the social media content calendar at least one month in advance.
• Coordinate content themes, campaigns, launches, and seasonal initiatives.
• Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and project managers to turn ideas into content.
• Publish content accurately and on schedule across platforms.

Optimize Platform Performance

• Monitor trends, algorithm changes, and best practices across social channels.
• Analyze engagement, reach, growth, and performance metrics.
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting with recommendations for improvement.
• Test new formats, posting strategies, and platform opportunities.

Manage Community & Brand Presence

• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Foster a positive and engaging online community.
• Help ensure the COCOON brand is represented consistently and professionally.

Support Events & Growth Initiatives

• Help promote company events, launches, and community involvement initiatives.
• Participate in and document occasional brand-building events in the community.
• Support broader marketing campaigns as needed.

• 3+ years of experience in social media management or digital content strategy.
• Strong understanding of major social platforms and how each should be managed.
• Experience with content calendars, scheduling tools, and platform analytics.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience with photography, videography, editing, or creative direction is a plus.
• Clear written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
