Job description
- Develop content ideas, hooks, scripts, and creative briefs aligned to each client’s goals, audience, and business objectives
- Research platform trends, competitors, and high-performing content to identify new opportunities

Maintain content calendars and stay far enough ahead that future content is always in development before current content publishes
- Manage scheduling and publishing across multiple client accounts, serving as the final quality checkpoint before anything goes live
- Own community management for client accounts - responding to comments and messages in a timely, on-brand manner, and flagging anything that needs client input or escalation
- Review captions, thumbnails, hashtags, metadata, and formatting to maintain a consistently high bar

Maintain brand voice, messaging, and platform best practices across every account
- Monitor content performance and translate analytics into concrete recommendations for future content and production

Identify content gaps and long-term opportunities to improve account performance
- Communicate proactively on timelines, priorities, and roadblocks across clients and internal teams
Requirements
We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist with 3+ years of professional experience managing social media accounts - this is not an entry-level role. You’ll own content strategy and execution across a portfolio of client accounts, so we need someone who’s a genuine self-starter: comfortable juggling multiple clients, driving your own priorities, and catching issues before they become problems., * 3+ years of professional experience managing social media accounts, ideally across multiple clients or brands
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Deep knowledge of social media scheduling and publishing platforms (e.g., Rella, Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite, Buffer), with the ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently within one
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills; able to self-manage across competing deadlines
- Proficient with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate ideation, streamline content workflows, and boost day-to-day efficiency
- Strong copywriting skills and sharp attention to detail
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Basic photo/video shooting and editing skills
- Experience within a creative agency or marketing team and in paid media is a plus
