intermediate architect

We are looking for an intermediate architect to join our growing team. You will work in a collaborative, design-focused studio culture where you learn through hands-on collaboration. We are looking for a highly motivated individual eager to engage in critical thinking, design, construction documents, and construction administration. We value an organized, pro-active architect that is capable of multi-tasking and taking projects through to completion. You will work closely with partners, but also be responsible for leading projects and teams.

• 3-7 years work experience
• Degree in Architecture
• Strong proficiency in Revit
• Strong conceptual design approach working from Concept phase through Construction Administration demonstrated with portfolio examples as well as completed construction projects.
• Communication and collaboration are extremely important.
• Working knowledge of zoning, building codes, and construction documentation
• Proficiency in Adobe programs
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

PALETTE ARCHITECTURE was founded in 2010 and has branches in New York and Los Angeles. Our work includes hospitality, education, multi-family, and custom residential projects. The work ranges in scale from new buildings and facade recladdings to facility modernizations and interior fitouts. Current work includes new construction and adaptive reuse for multi-family reidential buildings, large-scale fitness facilities, and single-family speculative projects in the Hudson Valley.
