Data Center Technician

• Provide comprehensive technical support for computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and peripheral devices across the facility.
• Troubleshoot software issues related to Linux servers.
• Manage computer systems including setup, configuration, updates, and maintenance
• Maintain and support network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, DNS, TCP/IP configurations, firewalls
• Be able to lift 40lb servers repeatedly
• Conduct regular inspections of IT hardware assets and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
• Collaborate with the IT support team to improve system performance, security protocols, and infrastructure reliability.

• Proven experience providing technical support in a facility or corporate environment with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), and Linux.
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management
• Competence in managing computer hardware components including desktops, laptops
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure management tools such as Microsoft Windows Server environments and Active Directory administration., * Are you proficient in any of the following 1) Microsoft Office 2) Linux 3) Web based interface?

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Preferred)
