IT Technician

Colorado Cloud is looking for a customer-focused IT Technician to join our support team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients - answering support calls, managing incoming tickets, and often heading out for onsite visits. This is an entry point into our company with real potential to grow into a more advanced technical role based on your skills and interest.

Responsibilities

• Drive to and perform a variety of onsite IT operations for our customers
• Answer inbound support calls and provide friendly, professional customer service
• Respond to and resolve daily support tickets
• Review and maintain the ticketing system to keep it organized and up to date
• Perform onsite client visits as needed, sometimes on short notice
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues

• Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient typing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of current Windows and macOS operating systems
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals
• Ability to manually identify and remove viruses/malware without relying on third-party removal tools
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle for onsite visits
• Must reside in Colorado
• Clear, professional spoken and written English
• Evening and Weekend availbility
• Must pass a background check (no felony convictions, DUIs, theft, or violent offenses)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Knowledge

• DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, and firewalls
• Newer versions of Windows OS
• Newer versions of Apple OS
• Basic understanding of common security vulnerabilities and how systems get compromised
• Smartphone setup/support and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
• General understanding of cloud computing concepts
