Job description

We are seeking an experienced Business Change Manager with strong AI and SharePoint expertise to support one of the Met Police’s largest transformation programmes, impacting over 45,000 officers and staff. The programme is delivering major changes across HR, Finance, Commercial and Resource Management functions through new technology, process improvements and cultural transformation., * Replacement of the current HR, Commercial and Finance system (PSOP).

  • Replacement of the legacy CARMS rostering and resource management system.
  • Transition to a new Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider under a 10-year contract.
  • Creation of a new transactional HR function., * Deliver change management and communications plans across a complex transformation programme.
  • Conduct Change Impact Assessments and Business Readiness activities.
  • Build and manage Change Networks and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Use AI, SharePoint, video, e-learning and innovative communication methods to engage large and diverse user groups.
  • Manage relationships with senior and change-resistant stakeholders.
  • Support programme reporting, milestone tracking, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Deputise for leadership when required and provide hands-on support where needed.

Requirements

  • Significant Business Change experience within large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience delivering cultural change to large, dispersed workforces and managing resistance to change.
  • Strong communication, storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience delivering Change Networks, Training, Change Impact Assessments and Business Readiness activities.
  • Experience using AI and creative digital solutions, including SharePoint, videos and e-learning, to drive engagement and adoption.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build credibility quickly.
  • Comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on.
  • Experience managing change across multiple locations and complex environments.
  • Oracle Fusion, GRS/rostering system experience or policing-sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

We’re Looking For

A proactive, resilient and collaborative Change professional who can hit the ground running, engage stakeholders at all levels and drive successful adoption across a high-profile transformation programme. This is a Business Change role, not a Project Management role, and candidates must demonstrate strong change delivery experience
