Job description

We are seeking a Technical Support Officer to join our Housing Property Services Team. This office-based role is crucial in delivering efficient, high-quality maintenance and repairs services to our council housing stock. You will play a key role in ensuring our tenants and leaseholders receive a reliable and responsive service they can trust.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage work orders and job tickets from start to finish - raising, allocating, and closing jobs using our job management system.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and customer-focused service.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, handling all information with confidentiality and care.
  • Produce and proofread documents, reports, and meeting minutes to a high standard.
  • Support the collection and analysis of performance data and customer satisfaction feedback.
  • Assist in coordinating maintenance activities and supporting operational teams to ensure services run efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a housing or property services environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using job management systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to produce and proofread documents and reports to a high standard.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis.
  • Basic DBS clearance is required for this role.
