Job description

Working within a supportive learning environment, this front desk position will assist students, in-person, online, and on the phone, as they are checking in and out of the Learning Center, scheduling tutoring appointments, reserving study rooms, checking out Learning Center resources, printing and copying, using Canvas, and more!, * Creates a welcoming learning environment while assisting students with checking in and out of the Learning Center, scheduling tutoring appointments, reserving study rooms, checking out Learning Center resources, printing and copying, using Canvas, and more. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technology skills (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Google Docs/Sheets, and Canvas). High attention to detail., * Leadership experience.
  • Front desk experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience performing multiple tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Experience troubleshooting basic computer hardware/software issues. .

Special Working Conditions

  • May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen.
  • May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
  • MCCCD does not sponsor individuals for any type of work visas, including ASU student visas.
  • Will be required to work in an area of light to heavy noise levels daily.
