Job description
- Disassemble computers and electronic devices for sorting and recycling.
- Test and inspect computer components to determine functionality and condition.
- Identify and evaluate components such as CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, RAM, and other hardware.
- Sort materials for recycling and refurbishment.
- Maintain accurate records of tested equipment and inventory.
- Recommend products suitable for refurbishment or recycling.
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines.
- Work closely with the production and recycling team.
Requirements
Staff-Force is hiring a Computer Hardware Technician for a client in the San Antonio area. We are seeking candidates with strong knowledge of computer components who can disassemble, test, inspect, and sort electronic devices for recycling and resale., * High school diploma or GED required.
- CompTIA A+, IT certifications, or related technical training is a plus.
- Experience working with computer hardware and electronic components.
- Ability to identify the value and functionality of computer parts.
- Familiarity with testing tools and diagnostic software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment safely.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
