IT Field Technician

Teknologize is seeking a skilled and experienced onsite field technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, resolving issues, as well as managing IT infrastructure for our clients remotely and on-site. This role will work directly with clients to ensure that their IT systems and networks are running smoothly and efficiently.

The following skills will excel in this position:

• Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients for a range of IT issues, including hardware, software, and networking problems
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for clients
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer systems, servers, and other IT equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on client systems and networks
• Manage client IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices
• Ensure that client systems and networks are secure and protected against cybersecurity threats
• Document all work performed and provide regular reports to clients and management
• Work closely with other MSP team members to resolve complex technical issues
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong technical skills in hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office
• Experience with server hardware and software, including Windows Server, Exchange Server, and SQL Server
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with cloud technologies, such as Azure or AWS, is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour, * 401(k) matching
