Job description
The Implementation Consultant role is a key part of our client’s Professional Services team, leading or supporting the implementation of SaaS ERP software for their customers. This role requires in-depth product knowledge and a strong consultative skillset to effectively work with our customers on how to best implement & derive value from our software.
Team members must be comfortable working virtually as part of one or more customer engagements. Throughout the life cycle of our projects, the Implementation Consultant will be responsible for everything from leading requirements workshops, configuring our software, and creating process documentation, to delivering user training, troubleshooting suspected issues, and supporting our customers’ manufacturing sites as they go-live with their ERP solutions., MUST HAVE ERP IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE
The Implementation Consultant is expected to:
- Support and execute customer implementation activities, including requirements gathering, solution configuration, documentation, testing, and end-user training, in alignment with defined project scope and delivery standards.
- Partner with customers to analyze and interpret business requirements, contributing to solution design within Amtech’s core products while applying relevant industry best practices.
- Deliver ERP and industry-specific knowledge transfer to customers using client’s consulting methodology to support successful adoption and long-term value realization.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of standardized training materials, implementation documentation, and supporting delivery assets.
- Assist with customer-facing presentations and proposals, supporting implementation delivery, complex engagements, and presales activities as needed.
- Proactively identify delivery risks and client issues, escalate appropriately, and collaborate with internal teams to support timely resolution and achievement of project milestones.
- Support organizational initiatives, including sales cycle support, practice aid development, and continuous improvement of delivery processes and operating procedures.
- Provide peer-level mentoring and knowledge sharing within the Implementation Services team to reinforce delivery standards and improve overall implementation quality.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have experience implementing solutions as part of an enterprise application software company., MUST HAVE ERP IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Packaging, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Packaging industry experience is ESSENTIAL.
- 4+ years of experience delivering professional services and/or supporting ERP software solutions; experience within the printing or packaging industry strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across concurrent projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear, professional customer-facing presentations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently while managing priorities across multiple customer engagements.
- Comfortable presenting and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization, from end users to executive leadership.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Fluency in Spanish or French.
- Direct experience in the corrugated or folding carton industry
- Advanced familiarity with the capabilities and functionality of client’s solutions.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles as they relate to ERP systems (e.g., invoicing, costing, financial reporting)., * ERP Implementation: 4 years (Required)

- Manufacturing Industry: 2 years (Preferred)
