We are looking for a Web Development Manager to lead the planning, development, and continuous improvement of modern websites and web-based applications. What you’ll do:
- Lead and coordinate website and web application development projects from planning through deployment.
- Manage day-to-day activities of web developers and collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders.
- Oversee website performance, functionality, security, and user experience improvements.
- Support front-end and back-end development initiatives using modern web technologies.
- Review project timelines, priorities, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
- Implement web development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Monitor website analytics and recommend improvements to increase performance and user engagement.
- Coordinate website maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and feature enhancements.
- Work closely with business teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Stay informed on emerging web technologies, SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Experience in web development, website management, digital projects, or related fields.
- Leadership or project coordination experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Good understanding of website technologies, content management systems, and modern web development practices.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive web design, or similar technologies is beneficial.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and delivering high-quality digital experiences.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent practical experience are welcomed.
