Technology Support Specialist-Part Time

Sonnenberg Schools is seeking a reliable and solutions-oriented Technology Support Specialist to support our staff, students, and administrative systems. This role is responsible for maintaining day-to-day technology operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all digital tools and platforms run smoothly across the two school locations., * Provide technical support to teachers, staff, and students for hardware, software, and network-related issues

• Manage and support core systems including PowerSchool SIS, Securly, Google Education Suite and ParentSquare
• Maintain and troubleshoot student and staff devices, including Chromebooks and tablets
• Assist in the management and monitoring of school security systems, including security cameras
• Configure, deploy, and update devices and applications across the organization
• Support user account management, permissions, and access across platforms
• Respond to support requests in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with administration and contracted IT support to improve system efficiency and security
• Provide basic training and guidance to staff on technology tools and best practices

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Experience supporting educational technology systems preferred
• Familiarity with PowerSchool SIS, Securly, Google Workspace for Education, and ParentSquare is highly desirable
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Experience working with Chromebooks, tablets, and device management systems
