IT Executive

• Manage and troubleshoot computer networking components including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Assist with desktop support tasks such as hardware installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of computer hardware components.
• Utilize ticketing systems like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira to document incidents, track resolutions, and ensure timely follow-up on support requests.
• Configure and maintain network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, and other security protocols to safeguard organizational data.
• Provide user training on software applications such as Microsoft Office suite and other essential tools to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades, perform routine maintenance, and optimize network performance.

• Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles with a strong understanding of computer hardware and operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Solid knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall management, and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting software issues across various platforms and devices.
• Experience using ticketing tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow or Jira for incident management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Strong customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Knowledge of security protocols including firewall management and network security best practices is preferred.
