Job description
This is a highly technical Epic analyst role-not a medical billing, coding, collections, or claims processing position., * Configure, build, maintain, and optimize Epic Resolute Professional Billing applications.
- Support Revenue Cycle workflows including charge capture, claims processing, reimbursement, payment posting, billing edits, workqueues, and collections.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Epic application solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership, operational teams, and technical stakeholders.
- Participate in implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, testing, and production support.
- Support Functional Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and Production Validation.
- Maintain Epic documentation and support continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- You are a Medical Billing Specialist, Medical Biller, Billing Representative, Billing Supervisor, Revenue Cycle Specialist, or Billing Manager without Epic Resolute Professional Billing certification.
- You have experience using Epic but are NOT Epic Certified in Resolute Professional Billing (RPB).
- You have Epic end-user experience only.
- You have certifications in other Epic modules (Cadence, Prelude, Ambulatory, MyChart, Beacon, etc.) but NOT Resolute Professional Billing (RPB).
- Your Epic certification has expired or is no longer active.
- You are claiming an Epic certification that you cannot verify.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE CONSIDERED
ACTIVE Epic Resolute Professional Billing (RPB) Certification (Current and verifiable)
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an Epic Resolute Professional Billing Application Analyst
Experience with:
- Epic Application Build
- Configuration
- Optimization
- Production Support
- Testing
- Upgrades
- Revenue Cycle workflows, * ACTIVE Epic Resolute Professional Billing (RPB) Certification
- Minimum 3 years supporting Epic Resolute Professional Billing applications
- Epic application build and configuration experience
- Revenue Cycle implementation and optimization experience
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Certification
- Additional Epic Revenue Cycle certifications
- Experience supporting large health systems
- ServiceNow, Jira, SQL, Reporting Workbench, Clarity, or Caboodle
- Agile/Scrum experience
