Job description
Collaborate with our team to design, build, and deploy Agentic AI models that solve real-world business problems, from data preprocessing to model training and integration.
- Run Blake’s outbound motion using Blake itself. You’re customer zero. If the product can’t sell itself, that’s your most valuable feedback.
- Own the full funnel: from first touch to activation to retention. Identify where prospects drop off and fix it - with copy, with process, or by building the experiment yourself.
- Close the first cohort of paying customers. This is hands-on selling, not strategy decks. You’ll talk to founders, demo the product, handle objections, and close.
- Build and run growth experiments: onboarding flows, activation triggers, referral mechanics, pricing tests. You don’t hand off a spec - you ship it, measure it, iterate.
- Query product data and build dashboards to understand user behavior. You’re comfortable writing SQL, working with analytics tools, and turning numbers into decisions.
- Build and document the first repeatable sales playbook: who buys, why, what they need to see, and how long it takes.
- Create the first case studies and proof points from early customers - the stories that sell Blake better than any ad.
- Work directly with our founder and engineering team to translate market signals into product priorities. Your input shapes what gets built next.
We keep things flexible: remote-friendly hours mean you can balance work with life, and as a startup, we’re not bogged down by bureaucracy. You’ll have the freedom to experiment and learn quickly.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in growth, sales, or business development at a B2B SaaS company - ideally early-stage.
- You’ve personally closed deals. Not managed a team that closes deals. Closed them yourself.
- Technical fluency: you can write SQL, build landing pages, configure automation tools, and have credible conversations with engineers about product decisions.
- Hands-on experience with CRMs and outbound sales workflows. You understand the workflow Blake replaces because you’ve lived it.
- Data-driven mindset: you make decisions based on conversion rates, activation metrics, and cohort analysis - not gut feeling alone.
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity. There’s no playbook yet. You’re writing it.
- Fluency in English and Dutch.
Preferred Qualifications
These would make you stand out, but they’re not deal-breakers - we’re a startup, so we’re betting on growth:
- You’ve been the first GTM hire at a startup and know what that means: zero process, zero leads, just you and a product.
- Experience selling to founders or small B2B teams (5-50 people). You understand their world because you’ve been in it.
- You can build simple internal tools, scripts, or automations to accelerate your own workflow - you don’t wait for engineering to unblock you.
- Experience with product-led growth: you’ve optimized onboarding funnels, designed activation flows, or built referral programs.
- You’ve worked with or sold sales tech and understand the competitive landscape.
- A network in the European B2B/SaaS ecosystem is a strong plus.
About the company
We’re looking for a Growth Lead who will be the first dedicated go-to-market hire for Blake - our AI SDR platform. This isn’t a traditional marketing role and it isn’t a pure sales role. You’re technical enough to build your own experiments, query your own data, and configure your own tools - but your obsession is growth, not code.
You’ll run Blake’s own outbound using Blake, close early customers, build the feedback loop between market and product, and figure out what makes people buy, stay, and tell others. You’ll have something most growth people never get: a product that actually works and a market that’s ready. What’s missing is someone who turns that into a repeatable engine.
