Job description

We’re hiring a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite IT support for end users in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This is a 12+ month contract with strong potential to convert to a full-time position. You’ll provide desktop support, staff a walk-in IT Support Center, resolve hardware and software issues, and deliver outstanding customer service.

This position is 100% onsite in Tempe, AZ 85281, working Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite desktop and walk-up IT support for end users
  • Manage and resolve incidents using ServiceNow
  • Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and business applications
  • Install, configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software
  • Perform basic hardware repairs including RAM, SSD, and keyboard replacements
  • Support printers, scanners, mobile devices, and meeting room AV equipment
  • Assist with software deployments and device provisioning
  • Provide Smart Hands support for servers, storage, networking equipment, and telecommunications devices
  • Perform basic network cabling, port patching, Wi-Fi, and LAN closet support
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and stock management
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting SLA expectations

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of Desktop Support, IT Support, or Field Support experience
  • Experience using ServiceNow or another enterprise ticketing system
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft 365
  • Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Basic hardware repair experience (RAM, SSD, keyboards, etc.)
  • Familiarity with meeting room technology and audio/video equipment
  • Basic networking knowledge including cabling, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills
