Part-Time Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to support day-to-day IT infrastructure operations in Lavonia, GA. This is a long-term, part-time contract opportunity ideal for someone with hands-on desktop support experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for technology.

The ideal candidate will provide technical support for infrastructure services, assist with hardware/software issues, and help maintain stable IT operations in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and infrastructure support for end users and internal teams
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues
• Respond to IT support tickets and assist with issue resolution
• Support infrastructure-related projects and ongoing technical initiatives
• Monitor systems and assist with basic infrastructure troubleshooting
• Document incidents, technical procedures, and support activities
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical challenges efficiently
• Follow IT best practices, standards, and service delivery processes
• Continuously learn and stay current with new technologies and industry trends

Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 2+ years of Desktop Support, IT Support, or Infrastructure Support experience

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience supporting Windows environments, hardware, and basic networking
• Ability to work independently in a part-time onsite environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience

Preferred Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Cisco CCENT
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Other relevant IT certifications are a plus
