nMiller Electric’s Commercial Solutions Division is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading and implementing manufacturing and facility improvements across the division, with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate across functions, and deliver measurable results that align with business objectives.\n, * Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills. \n

  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. \n

  • Demonstrate a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in alignment with divisional objectives. \n

  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on problem-solving capability. \n

  • Understand torque applications and torque design in a manufacturing environment. \n, * Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. \n

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross functional teams. \n

  • 3+ years previous manufacturing engineer experience . \n

  • Experience with Atlas Copco torque application tools, including pneumatic and electric systems. \n

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Power BI experience strongly ), AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks. \n

  • Understand, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing and assembly processes with an emphasis on safety quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. \n

  • Develop and maintain facility and manufacturing layouts using two-dimensional drawing software \n

  • Apply ITW Toolbox and Lean manufacturing principles to identify, justify, and lead operational improvement projects from concept through implementation. \n

  • Justify, specify, and procure capital equipment and tooling to support new and existing manufacturing processes. \n

  • Partner with operations leadership to develop capacity planning and contingency strategies to support divisional goals. \n

  • Support divisional and company-wide initiatives, including employee involvement programs and safety action teams. \n

  • Collaborate effectively with production personnel, engineering teams, and divisional leadership to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiates. \n

  • Ensure compliance with applicable government and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing operations. \n

  • Work closely with all engineering disciplines to ensure new product development (NPD) processes are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer quality and delivery expectations. \n
