Artificial Intelligence Software System Penetration Testing Vulnerability Analysis

Job description

This is a rare opportunity to make a substantive difference to public safety and wellbeing. As part of the team working in the Specialist Crime Division you can make a real difference by supporting the provision of the Technical Intelligence Development Unit to our officers and staff., Criminals are using increasingly complex methodologies to evade law enforcement, and we need to use new and innovative methods to remain ahead of the threat. Work on nationally co-ordinated projects to develop TEI capabilities and technology that will transform UK policing operations, as well as developing critical technical capabilities for Police Scotland Technical Collections.

Day-to-day a key responsibility is to act as the technical subject matter expert within the team (Exploit Development, Penetration testing, risk assessment, AI tools, Vulnerability testing), providing oversight and assurance for capability design. Using extensive experience and skill, make critical decisions regarding the technology used in operations.

The role requires you to liaise with Police forces and external partner organisations across the country, so you must be comfortable communicating and presenting regularly.

The interview will include a practical element to demonstrate competency and the role is not suitable for a trial.

This role will be Monday-Friday 0800-1600, fully office based.

A Driving Licence is essential for this role.
