Experteer Overview In this role you help secure critical defense software and hardware on the B-2 program, guiding cybersecurity architecture and verification. You lead and influence security practices across the system lifecycle, balancing technical rigor with program needs. You will tackle complex security challenges, perform assessments, and generate artifacts for authorization decisions. This position offers impact on national security through robust, verifiable cybersecurity protections. Compensation / Benefits * Solve complex technical problems involving low level cybersecurity concepts * Provide technical leadership in cybersecurity concepts and tasks * Assess software static code analysis results * Complete Cybersecurity Impact Appraisals/Evaluations on hardware projects * Generate and maintain artifacts for Air Force authorization decisions * Perform system vulnerability scans using ACAS and STIGs * Conduct manual STIG/SRG verifications on diverse equipment * Perform system categorization based on impact analysis * Develop artifacts for RMF package (SSP, Continuous Monitoring Plan, Risk Assessment, SCT, POAM) * Participate and lead systems engineering events across the lifecycle * Participate in SETR events (PDR, CDR, SRR, TRR) * Implement, review and assess cybersecurity requirements verification/validation methods Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in STEM with extensive relevant experience or equivalent * Experience in cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and evaluation * Knowledge of NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, NSS/CSA PM 9-12, JSIG * Current/active DoD Secret clearance * Security+ CE or IAM II/III certification or ability to attain within 6 months * Ability to be program cleared * For Senior Principal: 8+ years with Master, 4+ years with PhD or 6+ with Master, etc. Key requirements * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) * discretionary bonus potential
