Job description

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for end users across a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile devices, audiovisual equipment, and workplace technology issues while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working directly with users of varying technical skill levels and takes pride in creating a positive support experience. This position will serve as a key member of the infrastructure team, supporting daily operations while helping maintain reliable, secure, and efficient technology services. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite and remote support for desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral-related issues. Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, printers, conferencing technologies, and endpoint devices. Support conference rooms, executive meetings, and audiovisual technologies. Manage device deployments, hardware replacements, and employee onboarding/offboarding activities. Utilize ServiceNow to document, track, and resolve incidents and service requests. Support Apple and Windows devices within a corporate environment. Configure and troubleshoot mobile devices, Microsoft Teams, and collaboration technologies. Maintain accurate asset inventory and technical documentation. Partner with infrastructure and security teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues. Participate in on-call support as needed.

Requirements

Desktop Support & Troubleshooting: Windows PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, and end-user support. Microsoft 365 Support: Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Office applications, and account troubleshooting. ServiceNow: Incident management, ticket documentation, and service request fulfillment. Customer Service & Communication: Ability to support non-technical users with professionalism and patience. Audio/Visual Support: Conference rooms, meeting technology, Teams Rooms, and presentation systems. Nice-to-Have Skills Apple/macOS support experience Microsoft Intune familiarity Mobile device support and management Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments Hardware deployment and lifecycle management Soft Skills: Strong customer-service mindset Comfortable working face-to-face with executives and non-technical users Patient, professional, and approachable Able to build relationships quickly and earn trust Self-starter who takes ownership of issues through resolution Comfortable introducing new ideas and process improvements Skills Desktop, Troubleshooting, Support, Customer service, Help desk support, Service desk, Office 365, audio visual, apple support, intune, mobile device support Top Skills Details Desktop,Troubleshooting,Support,Customer service,Help desk support,Service desk,Office 365,audio visual Additional Skills & Qualifications The biggest differentiator is communication skills.
