Network Engineer

Contract Network Engineer role with client in Chicago, IL

• Long-term contract, onsite required at both downtown Chicago and Lake Forest offices
• Join a collaborative team of 5 Network Engineers, working closely with remote colleagues
• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing and switching
• Support and maintain network access points and wireless connectivity
• Partner with remote team to support ongoing network initiatives
• Assist with cloud networking and integrations (Azure, AWS)
• Diagnose and resolve network-related incidents and service requests
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures using ITSM/ticketing tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders for stable, secure, and scalable network operations

Must have proven enterprise network engineering experience

• Required hands-on skills: routing, switching, wireless/access points
• Working knowledge of Azure and AWS networking concepts
• Must be able to work onsite and travel between Chicago and Lake Forest offices
• Must have LinkedIn profile for submission
